Width of rectangle based on cell value

I am trying to create a day planner where I can position rectangle shapes on a timeline. Each rectangle should represent a job from a job board on a separate sheet. The width of that job should therefore represent the duration of that job and it needs to have a label to help differentiate it from the next job. Can anyone help?

Basically I have 2 different columns that I need to take information from:

    • Column D Job title (as I want each shape to be labelled with the appropriate name)
    • Column H duration (and this will specify the width of each shape

The job board (sheet 2) will have numerous jobs listed but I do not want to use all of them. I want to be able to quickly pick which jobs I want to represent on the day planner (sheet1) as rectangles and position them manually on the timeline. The timeline is represented in columns which are labelled in 1/2 hour increments. B5 is machine 1, at 7.30am. V5 is machine 1 at 4.30.

    Hope this helps
