Error in installing Office 2013 pro. Error code "30034-4"

Original title: Error in installing Office 2013 pro

I had installed Office 2013 pro successfully.  I then have to reset my windows installation to a date before my Office installation.

I subsequently uninstalled my Office, but whenever I tried to install Office 2013 Prof, I received the error code "30034-4".

I checked my windows folder and found the Microsoft Office folder.

I tried to follow the instruction in the Microsoft community (i.e. deactivate antivirus/firewall, delete all files in windows/temp) but it still gives me the same error.  However, I noted that there are three log files in the windows/temp which I cannot delete.

Can someone help me pl?

Thanks.

Hello Laik,

I understand your concern and will assist you with this issue.

This issue may occur if there are any remains of corrupt/old Office installation files present on the

computer.

Let's run 'Fix it' from the following article to remove any traces of Office installation and then try re-installing it:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2739501

Note: Save the ‘Fix it’ before running it if you’re working on a 64 bit Windows.

Hope it helps. I look forward to your reply to assist you further.

Thank you.

THANK YOU. THIS DID THE TRICK. I have been searching for a way to recover from having to revert from Windows 10 to Windows 7. My Office 365 would not work and would not reinstall. This removal of all Office worked and i was able to reinstall.
