Separating endnotes from a chapter text

I use microsoft word for Mac, 2011 version.  I have completed a book and am trying to separate the endnotes of each chapter to create a separate document of just the endnotes which will be put online. I am also trying to create a document of just the chapter text, with the endnote numbers in the text, but without the endnotes at the end.  In other words, I am trying to create two documents out of one for each chapter.

First problem:

I can copy and paste the endnotes, but in the new version the number of each endnote is 1. They are not numbered in sequence.  Any suggestions of how to recreate the endnotes in a separate document with them numbered sequentially?

Second problem:

Having made a separate but flawed document of just the endnotes of the chapter, I cannot then delete the endnotes at the end of the chapter's text.  A note pops up saying that this is not permissible.  I can manually delete the notes, but then have blank pages attached to the chapter text which I cannot delete.

Any suggestions of how to create a separate document of the chapter's text with the numbers of the endnotes, but without the endnotes?

Thanks

The discussion the following link does explain both the issues. You may have a look into it. http://www.msofficeforums.com/word/10780-separating-endnotes-text.html
