Dear Everybody,

When starting MS Access installation, I received an error message like below.

I accessed Support, however, the support required "Product ID number" which is not available before installation.

What can I do next?

I purchased this MS Access in Singapore.

Presently, I want to use in Indonesia where I live in.

I have MS Office installed, but MS Access was not included.

This is the first time to install MS Access.

Also, "Go online for additional help." did not go any site.

Thank you for your help.

    Hi,

If you have an existing Office 2013, you need to uninstall it first.

Make sure you have the CD and Product Key for both

Make sure they are retail copies (bought from a store or MSstore)

    • Uninstall Office 2013
    • Re-install Office 2013
    • Disregard the product key prompt
    • the installation should continue
    • One installed, open an application (Word for example)
    • It will ask for Product Key
    • Put Product Key of Access
    • It will give an error that it is not for that product
    • It will ask you if you want to install Access
    • Click Install Access
    • Once installed, you can activate using the product key appropriate for each component

    Hope this helps

    Cheers!
