Email verification link not working

I've purchased Office Home & Student 2013. When I entered the product key, I was told I need to set up a Microsoft account (this is my daughters), but when I received the email verification the box containing the link is not clickable, and there is no other way to open the link.

As you can see, the box asking me to verify the address is there, but when hovered over it is not clickable and so I cannot verify my address. Any advice?

    Hi,

I would require additional information about this issue to assist you better:

    1. What happens when you try opening the Office applications? Do you receive any prompt? If yes, what is the complete message?
    2. Have you registered the email account with Office 365 purchase?
    3. What happens when you go to My Account Page on Office.com?

    www.office.com/myaccount

    4)  Through which web browser are you trying to complete the verification process? Is it through Internet Explorer or different browser?

Reply with necessary information and the result for further assistance.

    Thank You.

I know this issue is a bit older but I just had that problem too. Apparently Microsoft could not fix it...

I maybe the trainee at Microsoft made a mistake and made an error coding the mail. Or the Mail format is just wrong.

Nevermore,  to solve look at the source code of the mail by right clicking on it. Depends on your mail provider. In the source code look for the activation link, copy and paste it in your browser. You can find the needed link by looking for the normal text which is located just before the not functioning link/button.

Help I could help. Microsoft,  fix this problem! You are not a startup no more!

I could not get the link to work when I logged on to my AOL email from my computer but the link did work when I accessed my AOL email from my cell phone.
