Yes, I have Windows 7 with Office 2010.

Based on the error here: OfficeRemotePackage is Absent. Are you trying to load it from a network share or in a zip file perhaps?

Just for clarity, you have Windows 7 (you stated above), you also have some version of Office 2013 installed and you get an error on install, of which this is the error log output. What does the error say? If you know you have Office 2013 installed and the installer is telling you it can't find it, we have now discovered an issue with some configurations where this is the case. We're in the process of working on a fix now. If that isn't the issue, can you let us know the error you're seeing on the screen? Thanks!

Based on your log messages it looks like the installer failed during the check of the .net 4.5 framework package; it also appears from the timestamps that the downloader couldn't have had enough time to install it for you.

While we didn't experience this failure during testing, we believe if you manually install .net 4.5 before installing the Office Remote PC components, it should install fine for you.

Please let me know if this works for you.

    Thanks,

    John

    Hi,

I would like to know if you are using Office 2013 on the desktop and the Windows 8 Mobile device?

If yes, then disable the defender\security essentials in Windows Clean boot following these steps:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: Ensure you restart the computer in normal mode after troubleshooting.

Let us know the results for further assistance.

    Thank you.
