When I insert a hyperlink in my document (Word for Mac 2011), the only way to show the display text rather than the hyperlink code is to set up the hyperlink, then do a "Select hyperlink" - at which time it shows the display text for the link. However, when I save the document and reload it, the display text no longer shows - only the hyperlink code. To get the display text again, I have to right click the link and do a "Select hyperlink" again.
With the high number of hyperlinks in my document (which needs frequent edits), this is not workable. What can I do to ensure the display texts for each hyperlink are persistent through a save/open?

I may have found the answer to my own question. After having no luck looking through preferences for display options, I found that using Fn+Option+F9 toggles the display between codes and display text.
