Just recently, I am not able to attach a file to send through my email service.  The problem I am having is with an error message labeled dw20.execute. It is a bright yellow message that says, "This program will open outside of protected Mode.  Internet Explorer's Protected Mode helps protect your computer.  If you do not trust this website, do not open this program." It appears to be published by Microsoft with the suggestion "Don't Allow."  I am using Windows 8.  When I click on allow it throws me out and locks up.  Please help!  I have Office 2007 and 2013 installed on my computer.

If you ask Google about dw20.exe, you'll find that it's part of the Windows error reporting system. The dw20.exe itself is not part of the problem, it's just saving a report of whatever the problem really is. (Of course, Microsoft could have made the message an explanation that ordinary mortals could understand, but that seems to be beyond their ability.) The lockup, on the other hand, is the result of the real error -- whatever that is.

A good start would be to go to the Windows 8 start screen, type error, and click Settings. One of the results is "Find and fix problems". Click that. The resulting Troubleshooting program has a lot of links to look at.

What mail service are you using?

Note, this is probably not a Word problem and it may be more appropriate to post to the Windows 8 Forum at http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_8 or a forum that is related to your mail service.
