mscache error updating office 2010

This is my laptop configuration.

Samsung

Windows 7 Home Premium

Processor:                   Intel i3 CPU

M380 @ 2.53GHz

Memory:                     3.00GB (2.86 usable)

System Type               64bit

Paging File Size:          2932 (set by system)

Hard Drive

C:  50.9GB Used Space: 39.1GB             Free:  11.8GB

D: 226GB Used Space: 19.8                  Free: 207GB (this also has the SamsungRecovery which takes up 11.8GB on the D: drive. I have read this is actually not much use when trying to recover, better to create your own.)

When I try to install the Office 2010 SP2 update I receive the following error:

   Microsoft Office Single Image 2010

The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.

Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package

'Single ImageWW.mis" in the box below.

   Use Source:

c:\MSOCache\All Users{90140000-003D-0000 (the rest does not show on print screen).

I searched for this directory, and am unable to find it anywhere.    This computer  is used only for our business office using an online program.  We have Office 2010, and about three other necessary programs.  There are no games, music or pictures.  I have already compressed the C: drive, run malware, spyware plus a few others suggested in Help and Microsoft Community.

thank you

Thank you for the help.  Neither answers solved the problem.  However, after a little more research, I read that the update is for an single user.  My license for three computers.  The other two do not have this issue.

This is what worked for one user:

............  and the only thing that worked to install this SP2 for Office 2010 was to copy the contents of the SingleImageWW.msi folder off the Microsoft Office 2010 CD to a folder on the computer and point the location to that folder............  ComputerTurtle
