Make mde with run-time

HI,

It's been long time since I've done this and I can't remember how.  How do you make a .mde file with Access run-time?  With the .mdb file open you can click on "tools/make mde", but how do you include run-time?

Thanks,

Phil

    Hi again,

Sorry, it's been so long since I've done this I forgot that I have Access 2000 and I have packaged before with the software I have.

    Thanks,

    Phil

Scott is right.  You need the Access Developer Extensions.  For some information on the subject see: Packaging Access 2003 Solutions

Could you possibly use the 2007 or 2010 packaging wizard instead?

For Access 2003, I thin ky need the Developer's Edition and then want to package the runtime installation with the mde.

You can't make an .MDE with the Runtime, you need the Full version of Access to do so.  Or are you asking how do you distribute the Runtime with an .MDE?
