This method will be a little quicker, but requires the use of a "helper" column:

  • Insert a column to the right of the one of interest.
  • In the first row with a text hyperlink in the original column, enter the "=HYPERLINK()" formula in the cell next to it and hit ENTER.
  • Now drag that formula down all the way to the end of your data.
  • Right-click on the original column and delete it.

If you can't delete the original column for some reason, do a copy-paste from the new column and then delete the new column.
