Hello,

I cannot install equation editor into powerpoint 2007.  It is installed and functional in Word 2007.  I have tried the control panel->edit microsoft office enterprise->office tools->equation edition on my computer.  When I go to insert object, there is no equation 3.0 or anything related listed.  Anyone know whats going wrong?  Its odd that its there in word and not in powerpoint.

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

Did you choose ‘Run all from my computer’ option in the maintenance mode of Office 2007?

If so, then check if Service Pack 3 for Office 2007 is installed in the Computer.

If not you may download and install it from the following link:

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=27838

If service pack 3 is installed then repair Office 2007 installation then check if you can find the ‘Equation editor’ option in PowerPoint 2007.

Refer the article mentioned below on how to repair Office 2007:

For further queries, reply and we would be happy to help.

Thank you.
