Camera function/ Paste as linked picture displaying full image

Hi

I have excel 2013 and have been using the camera function on it successfully for quite a while now.  In the last week it seems to be misbehaving in that when I snapshot a table to paste onto my dashboard it only pastes half of the table. It misses out columns and row along the right and the bottom. I've reviewed the table and there are no merged cells near it (one site suggested this causes issues). Its not been changed in any way other than updating the data in it.

I've done tests on other basic new spreadsheets and the same thing happens. I've even tried the crop function to make it bigger but its that actual image paste that isn't right. It doesn't matter what table, range of cells etc I try - it does the same thing. Yesterday it started working again and now today its removing parts of the image again. I've tried using the paste as image rather than the camera but the same thing happens. I'm now stumped and can't find anyone else in forums that's had this issue. Any ideas?

thanks

ok - so it happens on other computers too. The function seems to be very temperamental. Yesterday I opened my document and added another snapshot and it worked perfectly. Today however I've opened the same document and its kept one of the pictures perfectly but cut one of the pictures in half. And now when I use the picture function it is pasting in halves again.

    very very strange.

I is networked so will ask someone else to do the same thing. Unfortunately I can't log into other computers due to encryption.  Will update you.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

    Thank you for replying.

Is your computer connected to a network / domain?

If the computer is connected to a domain then log into a different computer and check if you're able to use the Camera function as expected.

Also verify what happens if another user logs into this computer.

Reply with the result and I'll be glad to assist you further.

    Thank you.
