Spreadsheet does not automatically update

I have a master spreadsheet that links with other sheets. When I open this master sheet it does not update showing changes made on linked sheets. I must manually update the master sheet. This just happened (maybe after MS update applied) because prior when I opened the master sheet it automatically updated.

I have changed no settings. On File/Options/Formula it shows under Calculations the Automatic checked and under Manual (not checked) but faded “Recalculate workbook before saving” is.

Any idea’s?

    Yes, mine has the same as your example shown.
