Adding comments in Excel for iPad

Question

I was trying to add comments to a spreadsheet in Excel for iPad, but found I could only edit. Why is this so and will this functionality ever be added? The iPad is an ideal platform for reviewing and adding comments so it would be a shame not to have this ability.

As of now Excel for iPad does not support adding Comments to a workbook. You can only view the comments for an Excel workbook which already contains the comments. For more information, see the link below.

I also faced the same problem when using excel thru Android smart phone.
