Office 365 ADFS Android users cannot login

Hey Guys,

I have just recently setup Office 365 with ADFS, I cant successfully log into Office 365 on any Windows OS app or web browser. But when using the Android Office Apps they do not log in.

The apps takes you to the ADFS login in page, but then just hangs on the configuring office \ finding your files

Setup is

ADFS server

ADFS Proxy

Public cert of both ADFS servers.

Thanks

Brenton.

I had the same issue when I company implemented ADFS...

IOutlook appeared to login but would not retrieve or send  emails or calendar.  After googling I found community.office365.com/.../230561

but this did not help me.

    I did fix it however.

In the app go into Settings->account setings-> scroll down and Clear Cache.

you will be required to type in your password again and then make a small sacrifice to Bill Gates and then hopefully it will properly synch again.

It worked for me. Although I didn't really make a sacrifice to Bill Gates. :)

    Hi Brenton,

After doing some research, please try the following steps to see if there are any improvements:

    1. Run the following command on the AD FS servers:

       netsh http show sslcert

The application ID and certificate hash is returned in the output. The website URL is also reported. If there is    more than one website configured on the server, search for the website URL first, and then obtain the    corresponding application ID and certificate hash.

    1. Run the following commands in the same window:

       netsh

       HTTP

       add SSLCert IPPORT=0.0.0.0:443 certhash=certhash appid=appid

       Notes

       a. Replace the IP address in this command (0.0.0.0) with the IP address that you want to specify. Also replace the port value with the specific port that's configured for the website. This is typically 443 for AD FS 3.0. For most customers, binding the SSL certificate to all IP addresses is recommended.

       b. The appid value must include the braces.

    Post back with any results.

    Best Regards,

    Richard

I figured it out, its now working for me.

The issue was due to a conflict between the "Cloud" users and the "On Premise" users. There was duplicate entry's, So basically removed all cloud users, forced a re-sync and it now works.

    Thanks

    Hi Brenton,

To better understand the issue, I would like to collect the following information:

    1. It seems you deployed ADFS proxy, right? What’s the version?
    2. Which article did you follow to deploy ADFS proxy?
    3. Do all users encounter the issue on Android devices?
    4. For “when using the Android Office Apps they do not log in”, could you please provide a related screenshot for further analysis? To upload a picture, please click Use rich formatting under the reply box and then click Insert Image icon.

    Look forward to any feedback.

    Thanks,

    Richard
