Version control - PowerPoint (Mac)

Hi,

Very simple question but I can't seem to find the answer. What is the very latest version of Powerpoint for Mac? My version has 15.18, but a contractor is telling me that this is not the latest version. Believe he may be referencing the PC version?

Version 15.18 is the latest published update for Mac Office 2016. It just was published on Jan. 9.

I would hope that any 'contractor' would be [acutely] aware of the distinction between Office for the respective platforms :-) However, depending on the contractor's relationship with Microsoft he may be receiving prerelease copies of updates before they're published. The same is true if the contractor is participating in the Insider program.

    If you have an Office 365 subscription you can sign up for the insider program. Since you already have the 15.18 update you can go to the Help menu in PowerPoint and choose Check for Updates. In the AutoUpdate dialog check the box "Join the Office Insider program to get early access to new releases" and then Check for Updates.

    If you don't have an Office 365 account then checking the box won't enroll you as an insider.
