Hi looking for some help with regards to what I might be doing wrong with my Ipad mini and onenote.

I have downloaded the app and it is connected to my microsoft account but I have no option to create a new note or any option to select any of the highlighters etc. in fact I cannot do anything on it. Also notes that I have created on my PC have not appeared on the ipad. I have synced the app but nothing is happening.

Any advice would be helpful.

thanks.

Hi,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

You can create your OneNote notebooks in iPad by,

·         Clicking on the file menu in OneNote.

·         Then under Notebooks, you will have an option ‘Create Notebook’.

If you have OneNote notebooks on your OneNote desktop, you will need to first put them on OneDrive and then access from your iPad.

Also, if you are using the same Microsoft account to sign in to OneNote, the notebooks from OneDrive will automatically sync to the OneNote.

Refer the below link to know how to sync the notebooks on your computer with your iPad.

Hope this information helps. If you have any other queries, feel free to contact us again.

Thank you.
