Purchased Office 2016.  Can't find the import XML feature (PC has it).  Am I missing something?  I can open the XML file but it opens it in text format which isn't helpful.   I want the data import feature for an XML file.

No version of Mac Excel has the XML tools available in the Windows versions... Excel for Mac can open files saved as XML Spreadsheet files but not XML Data files.

The simplest solution is to open the file using a Windows version of Excel then Save As in any of the file types common to both Win/Mac Excel [.xlsx, .xlsm, .csv, Excel 2003/2004 XML Spreadsheet, etc.].
