Just had one note "badge"  updated to my Android. I find it extremely unuseful,  more so in the way.  I can't see how to remove it.  Please tell me I can remove / disable this feature.

Hi, you can also simply press and hold (LONGPRESS) the badge, then drag it down to the X on the bottom of the screen.

You might as me find it useful if you are in a phone call and someone asks you to make a note of something.

eg. please note down this address.

then just click the badge when you are in a call and then note the address down :)

The settings options does not toggle, but instead merely asserts that the badge is on the home screen each time it is pressed. Good thing the long-press method works; otherwise I'd have to uninstall. The Got It thing should mention the long-press.

Thanks "Hauke" - I did not see that "X" and nothing in Settings worked for me on my new Nexus 6P.

No matter where I moved it - it always interfered with something else I'd do.

I am a big OneNote user - One of my all time favs... Its just a few taps away on my main screen if I need it if I am doing something else.

Again thanks for taking the time to assist.

For me - on my brand new Nexus 6p - tapping " Add OneNote badge to the homescreen" does nothing neither any other setting change I made..... Is it a Marshmallow thing? or does it just not function?

Either way - thanks for your reply.....

What did work - which I did not see - in a later reply..... while long pressing "the badge" an "X" pops up at the bottom of the screen - dragging to that works.

    Thanks

Open the OneNote App and click on the three dots in the top right corner and select settings.  From there you can enable or disable the badge function.
