When I open a document in Word 2013 I get a "Welcome back to where you left off". The box only remains for a second or two and I cannot take any action. Can someone explain this feature? How do I use to take me to where I left off?

Mohan,
Procedures did not work:
Office found a problem: We're sorry, Office (32 bit) could not be installed because you have 64 bit Office programs installed on your computer.

Mohan,
The ribbon symbol shown in your reply does not appear once the welcome box closes.

Hello,
Thank you for posting on Microsoft Community.
The Welcome box stays open in the bottom right-hand corner for about 2-3 seconds and then it shrinks to a smaller box with a ribbon symbol. See screenshot below:
Check if you see this box after the bigger welcome box disappears. If yes, then in order to navigate to the last accessed position on the Word document, you need to simply click on this box – which will then expand itself into the bigger welcome box. You may then click on the welcome box to take you back to the last accessed position on the document.
Check if the above step helps. Let us know the result.
Thank you.
