SPF Records

Hi,

Besides have my mail with 365 I also use a contact management system to send my mail from.  However recipients are rejecting e-mail from the content management system as when a reverse lookup is done by the recipients server, it realises my e-mail is not legitimate from the contact management system e-mail servers.

To get round this issue I want to add spf records (as below) to my domains currently on MS365.  How do I do this please as I cannot see any SPF record options?

The IP and mail relay name is as follows.

 167.68.17.96

relay.westgroup.net

Thank you in anticipation.

Pete.

    Hi Peter,

If Office 365 manages DNS for your domain, Office 365 handles spam filtering for you. You can't add another TXT record for SPF (spam filtering). To do that, you must set up your domain so that you manage the domain's DNS yourself at an outside DNS host (such as your domain registrar). Then you can set up the SPF record for the domain where you manage DNS for the domain outside Office 365.

You can find the detailed information at the bottom of this article:

Add or edit custom DNS records in Office 365

    Thanks,

    Frank

    Hi Pete,

You need to access your DNS provider’s page to change your SPF record. Here is an article for your reference.

    Best Regards,

    Toby
