How are you opening the database - are you using File Manager and double clicking the file name?

Did you try new database and link the tables?

I've been asked by my wife to check why this started happening here too. Access 2007 on Windows 10. Opened up the same way as always. Exact same error, including same object 'Databases'. The filename is Database1.mbd. This is for the membership database of a non-profit group and is run by parents of twins and triplets!

I don't really know how the database was set up - it wasn't me. I've called someone who might have known and she didn't really know either. She said the data should all be local in the machine here. There isn't really any network access so multi-user access problems shouldn't be there. This computer is pretty much only used for this database. It's owned by the club and it not used for personal use or anything.

Can't even open it up to check. I tried creating a new database and importing the data but same error. Is there any other way to determine how it is set up or where the data is or even if it is recoverable?

How are you trying to open the database? What is the name of the file?

The message seems to indicate that you have a referenced object that was deleted.

P.S. Since this topic is about Access your subject line is redundant. It helps us help you if you be more descriptive in your subject. For example you could have used the error message as the subject.
