all good, sorted this out with 3 hour google-searching marathon.
ended up like this
=VLOOKUP(B7,Sheet2!$A$1:$B$1400,2,FALSE)
p.s. needed to change order of columns, putting E collumn before B, therefore function didn't work. Order is important.

Helou there from Latvia.
I have problem in work with excel on higher level..
I have one excel document with 2 sheets with client codes in 1st sheet in column A.
There is 2nd sheet with the same client codes in collumn B, but in different order, and matching agents in column B.
In 1st sheet in new cell i need to compare 1st sheet's client code with 2nd sheet's client codes in column E.
When there is match, i need to get value from 2nd sheet adjacent B collumn..
Like i need to know witch agent is for exact client code.
Sorry for english mistakes, not native speaker.

Hi,
Try this
=INDEX($B$2:$B$1400,MATCH(B7,$E$2:$E$1400,0),1)
Hope this helps.
