We are installing a couple of Terminal Servers. Some of our users only need Word/Excel on line, others need more. Is it possible to use Office 365 E1 and Office 365 E3 mixed on a Terminal server. Of course on that TS Office will be installed on premise.

    Hi MarcVan,

Do you mean that you want to let 4 users use Office 365 ProPlus and 30 users use Outlook Web App via browser? If so, you can assign Office 365 ProPlus license (E3) to the 4 users and Exchange Online license (E1/E3) to the rest 30 users.

    Regards,

    Ryan

Is it possible to combine Office 365 ProPlus for 4 users, and only Outllook for the others (30 users)?

    Hi Marc,

Yes, users with different licenses will be able to use Office 365 separately in each terminal.

If you use shared computer activation, the users need to have valid E3 license. If you use the Volume licensing/MSI version, it only needs initial activation.
