Error while adding Index in MS word 2010

Question

I wanted to insert index in MS-word and clicked on "Reference ->Insert Index".

After closing the form, I am getting below mentioned error and a sign in whole workbook. 

"No index entries found."

Can anyone suggest how to remove it from the workbook.
