Tab size/width in Onenote

Hi there...strange question. I love my new Surface Pro 4 (with Office 2016) but the default tab width in Onenote is too small. I want to be able to see more characters (and fewer tabs) on my screen. I can't figure out how to do this. Can someone please help? I've searched online but am not finding any info.

    Hello Happy Surface Pro 4 user, 

    Did you ever find a resolution to this? I'm suffering from the same challenge, tab sizes in OneNote 2016 are way too small!
