We have Windows 7 and office 2013 connected to Lexmark M1145 desktop printers.  When we print a document with multiple copies selected it works well, but the next print requested will print the same number of copies even tho the print copies selected is

  1.  I just reinstalled the most current drivers.  Is there something wrong with Office 2013 or Windows 7?  Anyone else with this issue and how can i fix it.  Thanks

Some printer options stay selected for a Word session. Exiting Word and restarting it would reset everything to printer defaults.

OK, the information is incorrect even at File | Print (see screen shot below)? What happens if you click Printer Properties? Do you still see something other than the number of pages that actually print?

I recommend that you try updating the printer driver. Check Lexmark's web site.

I have tried the Ctrl P, but alas even if it states 1 copy to print it will print multiple copies just like quick print.  How can i get a "bug report" to microsoft so that this will get remedied?  Do you know?  Thank you Stefan atleast you knew what I was asking about.

Quick Print seems to be less useful in recent versions of Word, yes. I'm afraid I have no solution other than using Ctrl+P; this shortcut opens the preview window (same as clicking File | Print) and it gives you a list of common print settings and a button for printing the document.

I figured that was the case, but with prior versions of word it automatically resets itself to the default.  This issue uses a lot of extra paper and if we have to close and open word for each document it's very un-productive wouldn't you agree?  I understand if you go from excel to word to a third party app it wouldn't be inconvenient, but we produce documents in word.  Any other ideas?
