Latest OneNote functionality comparison - iOS vs Windows 10

Hi, I am trying to find a good comparison between the latest version of OneNote for iOS, and the full version for Windows 10. I have an Office 365 Pro Plus subscription.

When Microsoft first released OneNote for iOS, it has far fewer features than the Windows version. I know that Microsoft has been updating the iOS version, such that it now supports handwriting and OCR. Is the iOS version still less powerful than the full Windows version, and if so, what functionality is missing?

Most important to me would be:

  • the ability to search my handwritten notes
  • convert handwriting to typed text
  • record lectures, and synchronise the audio recording with the notes, such that I can jump to a particular moment in the audio recording using the notes
  • insert pictures and pdfs

Does anyone have experience with both versions that they can share?

Thanks!
