I noticed last night that certain fonts are not rendering correctly in Excel 2016 for Mac. I use Monotype Sorts to render a check-mark in a cell, where the numeric value is "4". Excel 2011 and Word 2016 correctly renders the "4" as a check-mark, but Excel 2016 does not. Has anyone experienced a similar issue, and if so, found a solution?
Thanks,
Ron.

Not sure what your answer is saying -- are you saying that the Monotype Sorts font rendered correctly in your Excel 2016? Not sure what you would like me to do by your request "Check if this happens on new user account." Any clarification would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Ron.
This problem couldn't be duplicated on 2 systems.
Check if this happens on new user account.
The only font i've had problems with so far is Monotype Sorts. I talked with tech support yesterday and they could duplicate the issue, but had no answer. Here are some screen shots:
Excel 2011 -
Excel 2016 -
Word 2016 -
Which are the other problem fonts? I couldn't duplicate this problem.
Will you be able to post screenclip of working word and problematic excel window.
