error message "Access denied to installation source"

downloading trial version of Office 365 Personal on Windows 7 Professional; received error code 30175-11 before total install has completed.

"Sorry we ran into a problem accessing a required file. Please check that the installation source has the correct permissions, then try again."

What does that mean?

I have tried uninstalling, restarting and re-installing three times and get same message.  I called support and was told the problem has to be resolved by advance support and that would require payment.  How can I be charged money to get a trial version installed?

Any ideas?  Help!

Peace,

    Hi.

It looks like the Office download is not happening properly, I would like to know what web browser you are using.

If you using Internet Explorer then let us open it in inprivate mode and download Office and check if you are able to download the Office programs.

To open Internet Explorer in InPrivate mode, goto Tools menu and select InPrivate Browsing or use the shortcut Ctrl+Shift+P.

If issue persist let us reset the internet explorer and then download Office.

Let us follow the steps mentioned in the article below and verify whether issue re-occurs.

    Thank you.

I was using Mozella but switched to internet explorer.

Thank you but nothing has worked.

I did some research and found I have another M/S account (expired) for the same program -Office Personal 365- under a different email address that is closed.  Is that a possible cause for the denied access to installation source?

I also found a M/S Office 2013 under my programs however the folder is empty.  When I try to delete it, it says I don't have administrative rights to delete. I am the administrator so how can I not have rights?? Gee.

I was told by M/S Technical support to buy the program from a retailer, Best Buy, but I didn't know it was a card with a number that I enter to access the website. That didn't work either, so I am out of cash money and I still can't work in the program.

I do appreciate everyone suggestions. I don't know what to do.

    Peace,

    Trish

The above suggestion did not help.  I did as instructed and continually got to 32-33% and error message"Access denied to installation source, problem accessing a required file.  Check that installation source has the correct permissions.  Error Code 30175-11.  Truly frustrating!!!
