I experienced the same problem you describe. Curiously, TextEdit interprets the font correctly and pasting such text back into Word does display in Pompiere.

A solution is to access Word > Preferences > Compatibility > Font Substitutions (you'll see that Word is using Times) and use the "Convert permanently" button with the dropdown menu to change to Pompiere.

    Daniel,

Thanks, but I've tried downloading from at least 4 different sites.  I always get the same results.

When, I try to install the font, it reports an error in the font.  I tried to "repair" the font with Font Book, as suggested, but that didn't work either.

When I try to use the Pompiere font in Word, it looks like Times New Roman.  That's not the result I wanted.

We were able to locate a font called Mountain Retreat that is similar in appearance to what we wanted in Pompiere.

I was able to successfully download the font, install it, and use it in the Word document.

    I don't get it, either.

    Glenn

I guess I'd try to download it from other places. Otherwise, please describe your problem.
