Hi
I've an Office 365 E3 subscriber with my own domain. I originally bought and managed the domain through godaddy but when I bought my O365 subscription I moved the DNS maaged to MS although kept the domain hosting with goddady.
Email works fine through O365 & desktop Outlook client but my public website isn't public (I can only see it if I go through O365 Apps\Sites). Today I tried to setup Skype for Business but O365 reported DNS CNAME errors saying I had to add CNAME records to my DNS hosting provider but when I log into godaddy it tells me that I can't manage DNS files for my domain through them becuase my domains nameservers donlt belong to them.
When I use whois.com it tells me that godaddy is my registrar but the nameservers belong to MS:
Name servers:
ns1.bdm.microsoftonline.com
ns2.bdm.microsoftonline.com
I'm not a network engineer.
I have no idea what to do.
Help.

Hi Steve,
Thanks for the information. I have sent you another PM to request the images.
Regards,
Jim
Sorry Jim - being a bit thick - I cant work out how to insert the screen shots?
I see 2 buttons on the ribbon labelled "insert/edit media" (slightly different icons). Both open a form that has a "From" drop down with 2 options: "YouTube or Web (URL)" & "Site Search". A second text box then either demands the URL or Search term???

Hi Jim
Thanks for response. I've PM'ed you with the details you asked for.
I've attached screenshots of the domain details & DNS errors in the PM.
Thanks
Steve
Hi Steve,
Yes, the name servers indicate that the domain is managed by Office 365. Normally you won't have to add the Lync Online related DNS records to setup Skype for Business because they are generated automatically.
To investigate the issue, could you let us know the following information?
To upload screenshots, you can click Use rich formatting in the forum and then click the icon of Insert/Edit Media.
