Why is one note different for Mac?

Please tell me why one note for Mac is not the same as it is for PC, their are many Mac users who have used one note previously and would pay just the same as any microsoft user for the ability to use One note for it's full functionality just like the PC version.

There are many things I can't do on the Mac version that I can with the PC version,  while some being smaller things they are things that count.

Example being not being able to  set a default font size. When printing I get Many pages and some are just a continuation of a text box because for what ever reason it doesn't shrink to fit the page.  Or being able to view note books and their content  in a left hand window pane like One note 2007 and 2010.

I have yet to find another app with the full functionality of one note and yet I'm being disappointed that I can't use it for it's full potential I've created many things and done so much with one note in my past experiences. This is a useful tool for students as well but for any student with  a Mac it's a more inconvient interface to use.

Please hear us Mac uses out and fix these issue or make it the same so we can buy Office or Student Microsoft services and know we are getting the quality  applications we have experience by using a pc version.

Thanks!

Please fix The following 3 things:

1.)  Printing, it doesn't print like any normal document. Example a title of page comes out on If my title was Once Upon a Time

One page would read across the top One Upon, the second being  a Time....  Never had this issue while using PC version.

2.) Being able to set a default font size

3.) Viewing like in previous versions for PC with left side panel that displays notebooks and sections and group sections and ect.

I know it may be a long wait to actually save our notebooks on our Macs like PC instead of using this cloud thing.

However I would be thrilled with even just the above mentioned fixes.

I really do  love this product and as are many people disappointed in the lack of accessibility for mac users.

Thanks so much and look forward to a response and future updates regarding these issues.

Sarah ~ Welcome to the Community.

Please tell me why one note for Mac is not the same as it is for PC...

"The Windows version of OneNote is a pretty powerful app, and uses many capabilities that come with Windows, so it will be awhile before the Mac version "catches up" with everything in the Windows version. That said, maybe there are some capabilities you would like to see first? We're always interested in feedback so we can prioritize the work." [Source: Microsoft]
