How do I make feature requests?

Hi,

I would like to make a few requests to MS to add features to OneNote. How do I do that?

If the answer is that you simply post here and MS will read it and submit it for feature additions to future versions: here are my ideas:

  1. In OneNote you can add photos to any page in a notebook. Its a nice feature, but you can't add videos. Why not? Please, allow us to add videos, its practically the only file format that one cannot just plop into a notebook.
  2. Also concerning photos in OneNote for iPhone--you can add a photo easily and a lovely cropper/resizer/transformation widget comes up, which is great for recentering and zooming in on added images of whiteboards or screens that you are shooting from an angle. But once you make your decision about the resizing, you can't go back and change it or update it. The process takes time too, and sometimes you don't have time between shots, so it would be good if you could go back and modify the cropping/resizing/transformation of any photo in a notebook (just like you can now do at the time of the shot).

Thank you Stephen for this question.  The OneNote team has a Suggestion sitewhere you can submit an idea and/or vote on an idea someone else has suggested.  We regularly review the ideas and incorporate them into product planning discussions.  You are able to place your idea into several forums shown below

I encourage you to visit this site, and post the suggestions you have above, as customer suggestions help us build the best version of OneNote.
