Onenote doesn't support Unicode!

So I've been using OneNote Windows 10 app on PC and Mobile, and apart from English (roman), most Unicode fonts don't seem to work. Either they show up as boxes, or they show up all wrong.

I can understand the lack of advanced features, but seriously, full Unicode support is *basic.*Example:

Tamil: பச்சை: When one types this, the சை appears with the two characters reversed.

English (Indic IPA): these characters simply don't work: ṭ, ḍ, ṅ, ṇ, ṛ and show up as boxes.

I found these problems with Kannada and Sanskrit script too. All other places (apps, websites, etc.) are able to see these characters, and I have all required languages and fonts installed on my computer!

P lease set this right. Please!

It's not a font problem, it's a keyboard problem. It doesn't recognise these keyboard characters, or if it does, it gets them all wrong.

All other apps and software including Word 2016 and Word App on PC and phone work just fine. It's only OneNote app that has this problem, BOTH in Windows 10 PC and Mobile.
