Can't edit .pub document

I cannot edit a publisher document I have created.  I've tried everything I know to try. I have a deadline of today and I must make a few edits. Any suggestions?

    1. What happens when you try to edit the Publisher document? Do you receive any error message?
    2. Where are you storing the Publisher file? Are saving it locally or on OneDrive?
