I need to use Solver to do my homework. In total I can use Excel in two computers, one in office and one private. The excel in my office was installed in one Language-Chinese which I cannot change at all....But since my lesson regarding Solver was taught in English, the interface and the function of the Solver is a little bit different. I checked it is Microsoft 2007. The question is, can I use Chinese Excel but English Solver?

At home I use Mac Book and installed Microsoft 2011 by using the one-year free trial account provided by my university. I installed first in Chinese and later changed to English. But the problem is I cannot generate the anwser and sensitivity report which I must submit along with my homework!!!! It shows Automation error. I googled it and found someone said it is not the Add-in problem but the office I installed broke.......How can I fix it?

I hope someone can help me and I need to submit the homework lastest next Thursday.....

Thanks for all your attention!
