Hi Community

I have a scatter chart that when I look at it in Excel 2010 it has a CELLREF error in place of the data label and when I look at it in 2013 the data label displays the word that has been typed in there? Anyone know why? Thanks for anyone's help.

xl2013 has the ability to link data labels to cells. This feature is not in xl2010 so displays the [CELLREF] message instead.

If you need to link data labels to cells AND for it to be visible in both versions try this free addin.
