Converting notebook into section

Hi

Is there any way I can merge several notebooks into one notebook?

For example, I have 5 notebooks that I would like to merge into one notebook. The 5 notebooks would become 5 separate sections within the one notebook. Then the individual sections within the old 5 notebooks would become pages within the new section, and finally the pages within the old section would become subpages within the new page.

So I basically just want to merge all my notebooks into one central notebook, and have each tab drop down a level.

Thanks

Hi Erwino,

I'm a daily basis OneNote user, In my experience, I believed what the result you want will needed to be dine manually, but this is possible to be organized in the way you said.

To make sure you dint mess your notes, I bet you are fully understanding the PAGE, SUB-PAGES, SECTION, SECTION GROUP, and NOTEBOOK, these concepts.

Suggestion 1

then i will suggest the faster way is make section groups to make your wish done. Like grouping all sections into one group, on all 5 notebooks. Then move the groups into one notebook, one by one. And I believed this will be fastest to be done.

Suggestion 2

'downgrade' each sheet. Such as moving the pages become subs, and then arrange the "sections" into the "pages" area. So then moving the notebooks become 5 big sections.

This is the two ways I normally would go with, there is no automatic way to done this at the moment, as far as I know. Hope these could help, cheers.
