I upgraded my office for MAC to the 2016 version on Friday but the control+tab is not working for Excel. Does someone found a solution yet?

Ctrl+Tab is the OS X keyboard shortcut for switching between currently running programs.

To switch between open windows of the same program Ctrl+` is the appropriate keystroke.

Check again Bob,

Unless your Computer is set different The "Application Switcher" shortcut is Command - Tab (⌘ - Tab)

Or if you haven't set Keyboard so that Function Keys (Fn) has been switched to activate certain apple System actions (reverse of what it is Normally) it may be Fn Command - Tab (Fn - ⌘ - Tab)

*Corrected: The original reply mistakenly indicated the use of the Ctrl key modifier instead of the Cmd key modifier.

When "sometimes it doesn't" do you happen to be using Full Screen View? If so, that's an OS X limitation which prevents switching between document windows while using it.

BTW, the correct keystroke is *Command+** not *Control+

My bad - you're right, I should have indicated Cmd+Tab & Cmd+`. Thanks for the catch... I've edited the message accordingly.

    I've tried

    • Control - Tab
    • Option - Tab
    • Shift - Option-Tab
    • Shift - Control Tab
    • Command - Tab             (OS X Application Switcher)
    • Shift - Command -Tab

Apparently: Short Cuts have not been turned on as of yet in 2016.
