I would think that a macro that pasted into Word and into Excel would be a troublesome one to write. Which Word file, and where on the page? Which Excel file, which worksheet, which cell to paste to.

    Cheers

    Hi Bernard,

Obviously no need to copy twice. But, I want single CTRL+V paste into two places. I'm tried every time pressing CTRL +C and CTRL V. Is it possible with VB script, bat file or any other language?

    I cannot reproduce this.

I selected some text in an email message in Outlook, copied it using CTRL+C, moved to a Word doc and used CTRL+V to paste, moved to an Excel worksheet and again used CTRL+V to paste. I had no need to copy twice.

On returning to Outlook, the text remains selected.

    best wishes
