Sheet navigation in Excel 2016

I have a large workbook (20+ sheets) that I've been using for a number of years on Excel 2011. Now that I've upgraded to 2016, I'm having problems selecting sheets. When the window is part of a desktop the two arrows in the bottom left allow me to scroll through my sheets until the tooltip appears. Once the tooltip appears clicking does nothing until I move the cursor away to get rid of the tooltip. If I have the window fullscreen so it occupies it's own workspace the arrows don't work regardless of whether the tooltip is being displayed or not.

Any ideas why this is happening?

Sorry about the huge delay in replying, the last few times I tried to access the thread I was getting page not found!

Nice to know someone else has the problem and it's not just me. In the meantime I've found that I can navigate the sheets one at a time using Command+PgUp/PgDn. It's not perfect, but it'll do for now.

It wouldn't hurt let Microsoft know about this problem. Here in the forum it is user-to-user.

I believe its a bug. I have reported via the smilie face tool, but I'd bet its going to be a while. It certainly is a pain in the behind though.
