The Text1, Text2, Text3, and Text4 fields do not show by default in the Entry table (left side of the Gantt chart view). If you insert those columns, does the data appear?
Import Excel file into MS Project. Task mapping wizard not picking up all fields
I figured out how to connect my Excel file to MS Project. However, when I map the fields to be included in the Project file, it does not show all the fields included in the Excel file. For instance, I downloaded an Excel template, copied and pasted my file into the template. I went to "open" in MS Project, retrieved the file and the Import Wizard Task Mapping appeared. I followed the steps and tried to match all of the fields in Excel to the fields in MS Project (example: most of the fields I marked as text, except for the title field. I marked that as 'Name'). I hit finish once I was done and the only output I received from this mapping, was the title field. I need the other 15 fields from my Excel file to show up in MS Project. I have attached screenshots for your reference. Any help is appreciated.

2015-10-27T16:11:34+00:00 I inserted them by changing the name to match the Excel file. So now it reads project number in Excel as well as in Project. It will import some of the info but not all of it.

2015-10-27T17:42:03+00:00 Exactly what does it leave off? Text fields in project are limited to 255 characters. Do you have more text in the field? What version of Project? Are you up to date on all patches and updates?

2015-10-27T17:49:07+00:00 For instance...I have approx. 20 columns I need imported from Excel into a MS Project. It only imports 1 of those 20 columns when I do the Import Wizard.
I have MS Project 2010 as well as Excel 2010. All patches and updates have been pushed as of 12:01 this morning.

2015-10-27T18:11:04+00:00 And are all of the 20 fields text fields? When you insert the additional fields in the table in Project - they are all empty - no data?
Are there completely blank rows or columns in the Excel sheet?
Can you post a screen shot of part of the Excel sheet?
