ipad powerpoint highlighting

Question

I am trying to highlight things on my powerpoint presentations but whenever I leave the slide it deletes the highlights and pen markings I have made. Is there a way to save them? Thank you for all your help.

I am having the same problem. To answer your first question when he means leaving the slide, as in going to the next slide and not leaving the the application. So when on slide 2 and you highlight a term and go to the next slide number (3) and then going back to slide 2 the highlighted word is gone.

I just need to learn how to save highlights and pen marks on the slide because they seem to disappear when I go to few the next slide in the same PowerPoint.

Hi I also have this problem, I am using iPad mini. When you view the PowerPoint using the play button in top right corner and use the highlighter/ pens on the slides, when you click to the next slide the pen writing disappears. I want to save the pen onto the slides but don't know how
