Encrypted spreadsheets

As many of you will be aware Excel has password protection, for earlier versions of Excel say 2010 & earlier the password protection is pretty weak. So when you try to secure any data in an Excel spreadsheet it probably isn't secure.

Also there is no current way for you to have secure or encrypted data in a spreadsheet and allow anyone to open that spreadsheet because then it is not secure anymore, so hiding and protecting a sheet doesn't protect data.

For this reason I wrote a program using VBA and Excel spreadsheets to do this. The program is able to be downloaded from my website www.encryptedspreadsheet.com

I haven't completely finished the site yet but if any Excel user would like to trial it and give me feedback that would be helpful.

I have got a well known encryptologist Vincent Rijmen to agree to review the encryption and I am going to do a Kickstarter project to raise money to pay him for this.

To demonstrate this I have loaded 2 youtube videos showing how to encrypt and decrypt a spreadsheet

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBwnyvnQDtw

and also a video to password protect and/or encrypt using say Excel 2013 and greater

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qYYmA4MAaDw

so this should help understand the process.
