SSRS report - chart with background gradient color and image

I am designing a cover page where i need to have gradient background color and a logo. I am using a chart component for that. Putting all of this together is not a problem. I am getting the correct color and with an image in the upper left corner. My problem is that the I can't see the background through the image. I tried transparent images (or so I was told they were), but still it wasn't working. Any idea to blend an image into background?

    Hi @mark goldin ，
    If you want to place a transparent png format image on the chart, you can try to select the chart and make the following settings:

    117669-04.jpg

    You could change the position of the image on the chart.
