Adding Domain Alias Gives Me and Error

I recently signed up for 365 and plan on migrating my email over.  As I setup my users and domain aliases I am getting the following error.

"You can't use the domain because it's not an accepted domain for your organization."

Default: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

Alias *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

Alias2 *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

Can someone please let me know if I am doing something wrong here?

It seems as though it just took several hours to propagate.  I tried it the next morning and it worked fine.

    Thanks

    hi bigtani,

to further investigate the issue, could you please share with your detailed steps?

in addition, which domain did you use to create alias? have you tried other domains?

did the issue occur to all users you created?

moreover, the error information indicates that the issue is related to domain. we suggest you check whether all domains are setup in office 365 admin center > domains and whether they show up in exchange admin center > mail flow > accepted domains.
