Issue with activating benefit

i've been trying to activate my msdn office 365 benefit for quite a while. the problem is in the office 365 system - can anyone help me?

i get the dreaded error message,

the service you’re subscribing to isn’t available for one of the following reasons:

  • it’s no longer offered by microsoft.
  • you’ve already tried this service. you can sign up for a trial only once.
  • the beta or trial you’re requesting has expired.
  • the promotion code has already been used.

when i click on the portal link, the error message comes up immediately. i spend 6+ hours this week bouncing through all departments at msdn and office 365. the conclusion was that the office 365 portal doesn't like something about me and no one can tell me what it is. msdn has confirmed that i have the benefit and the problem isn't on their end. would someone please help?

    My images do not appear. Please send an email and I will forward them.

    Also, there is an error message in the html for "The Service.."
