Microsoft Office Excel in Mac OS

I am using windows laptop as of now! and the Microsoft office is doing a great job.
But I am also planning to upgrade my PC with iMac. But I had a bad experience with excel in MAC OS back in office. It seems like some functions were missing and some are not operating smoothly?

My work is completely dependent on Microsoft excel. so I am skeptical about buying the iMac.

Just want to know whether the excel shows problem for all the Macs or is it just me?

    Windows and Mac OSs are the different operating system, Office products in the Windows OS are more mature and stable than the Mac OS, and have more powerful features. But Microsoft is constantly updating and improving the features and performance of Office products in the Mac OS.

    If you can provide the specific Excel feature you need to use on the Mac OS, it may help you more quickly.
